The Formula Student competitions take place in several stages, with more than a hundred student teams from 40 countries participating. Throughout the year, teams design and build race cars, and then compete on them.

The judges evaluate not only the design, engineering innovations of the cars, their handling and safety, but also the economic attractiveness of the projects.
